'Fund Our Falcons' Fundraiser

This week launches Fidalgo PTA’s ‘Fund our Falcons’ Campaign! Fundraiser details + a donation envelope was sent home with students Friday!

Our goal this year is $10,000. Every donation helps, and every child at our school benefits! This year's recommended donation amount is $60 per student. Ask family members and/or community members to support above and beyond to help us reach our goal.

Donation envelopes will be collected from September 25th to 29th.

INCENTIVES!  We have some FUN prizes planned for students and classes to help incentivize participation!

  • When students turn in their donation envelope, they will receive a prize.
  • Class with the highest dollar amount fundraised will be rewarded with a classroom party.
  • When we reach our goal of $10,000, there will be a school-wide celebration!

Our goal is to give updates throughout the week to generate some friendly competition, which will hopefully help us reach our fundraiser goal of $10,000.

PREVIOUS {FIDALGO PTA} FUNDRAISERS...

Fidalgo PTA presents the ‘Big Hearts’ Social - Saturday, February 25 at Buxton's. Tickets are $25/person and are now available for purchase. More details to follow in the coming weeks, but for now reserve yourself a sitter and be ready for a fun night out with other adults who love and support the growing minds at Fidalgo Elementary.

NOTE: This is an after-dinner, cash bar event so please plan accordingly.

Welcome to ‘I LOVE TO READ - 2022’ a program to help motivate our children to read, keep them reading with new books that are fun and educational, all the while supporting the school. The money collected will be used to obtain books for the students & classrooms, as well as support PTA enrichment programs at Fidalgo Elementary.  The students will receive 50% of the money they collect in BOOK BUCKS to be spent on new books of their choosing. The PTA will receive the other 50% to continue their support of all students, through programs including Grade Level Enrichment and Teacher Grants. (For example: $40 in donations, gives the student $20 in Book Buck Vouchers and $20 to directly support the PTA.)

Students are ‘challenged’ to read (or be read to) for a minimum of 300 minutes over a 10-day period. Sponsors can include family, friends, and neighbors. For safety reasons we ask that students not go door-to-door to collect pledges.

Thank you for supporting these efforts. We want EVERY student to experience the joy of reading, reaching their goals and to be rewarded with great books for doing so!  And of course, a special thanks for (also) supporting the PTA.
